Due to the further escalation of tension in the region, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises citizens of the Republic of Cyprus to avoid travelling to Ukraine.
In addition, citizens of the Republic of Cyprus who reside permanently and/or are temporarily located anywhere in Ukraine are invited to leave the country while direct commercial flights are still taking place. It is noted that in the event of a further deterioration of the situation, airlines may vary or suspend their flight schedules to and from Ukraine.
Cypriot nationals whose presence in the country is deemed by them to be imperative, are invited to remain on standby and declare their contact details to the Embassy of the Republic in Kiev and register on the Connect2CY online platform.
