Six cases of burglaries and thefts in shops in Chlorakas are being investigated by the Pafos Crime Detection Department from which the alleged perpetrator extracted stolen property of about €8,000.
According to the Spokesperson and Head of the ICF of Pafos, Michalis Nikolaou, six cases of burglaries and thefts were reported, committed on Chlorakas Avenue and in shops, which are next to each other or opposite between the dates of 19-21 February 2022.
Of the six stores, which are a supermarket, kiosk, real estate agency, beauty salon, optician's shop and cafeteria. Stolen property of a total value of €7,940 in money and various items, such as alcoholic beverages, cigarettes and so on.
In two of the six cases, according to Mr. Nikolaou, there was a CLOSED CIRCUIT surveillance from which the movements of the suspect were recorded and a 27-year-old was identified as a suspect. An arrest warrant was issued against the 27-year-old.
The examinations are continued by the ICF of Pafos.
