With the European certificate (which has a 9-month validity), and without a test, the entrance to Greece will take place from Monday, February 7th, as stated by the Minister of Health Thanos Plevris.
"From Monday, February 7th, entry into the country for those who have an active European certificate will be without a mandatory test," the health minister told ERT.
It is noted that as of next Monday, vaccination certificates in Greece expire for those who have not had the third dose seven months after the second. At the same time in Europe, the validity of vaccination certificates with two doses is at 9 months.
The health minister had said regarding the vaccination certificate that expires in the 7-month period that "in order to reach from 67% to 84% of the adult population that has been vaccinated, we have taken a series of tough decisions. Already, 85% of those who were entitled have received the booster dose. I believe those who have not done it will rush to do the booster dose."
