CLOUDY WITH POSSIBLE RAIN - THE FORECAST FOR THE COMING DAYS

Weak high pressure affects the area and from Tuesday weak low pressure is expected as well as sparse dust in the atmosphere.

Today the weather will initially be partly cloudy while gradually it will become mostly cloudy with the possibility of isolated light rains, mainly in the western half of the island and in the mountains. The temperature will rise to around 20 degrees in the interior and on the coast and around 11 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tonight the weather will be partly cloudy with the possibility of isolated light rains, mainly in the highlands. The temperature will drop to around 7 degrees in the interior, 11 degrees on the coast and around 5 degrees in the higher mountains.

On Tuesday the weather will be partly cloudy with the possibility of isolated rains.

On Wednesday, the weather will initially be mostly clear and will gradually become partly cloudy with the possibility that in the afternoon there will be isolated rains, mainly in the mountains. Later in the evening and in the early hours of the morning, it will become partly cloudy with local rains and isolated thunderstorms. On the highest peaks of Troodos, snow or sleet is likely to fall.

On Thursday the weather will be mostly cloudy with local rain, isolated thunderstorms and snow or sleet in the higher mountains.

The temperature will not change significantly on Tuesday and Wednesday to hover above the average climatic values while on Thursday it will fall to be close to the average climatic values.

The height of the snow in Troodos Square, at the time of issue of the bulletin, was 57 centimetres.
