Two days after his detection, pursuit and escape, the runaway Alexandros Sarkisidis finally fell today into the hands of the Police. According to statements made by the head of the Pafos ICF, Michalis Nikolaou, to "F", the arrest of the runaway took place when a citizen informed the Police that there were suspicious movements in an apartment in the Area of Universal, considering that it was a burglary.
A Pafos police team rushed to the area and spotted one person having breached the main entrance of an apartment in which no one lives. The police immediately found that it was the 28-year-old expatriate runaway whom they arrested.
Sarkisidis was transferred to the Pafos Police Department where he is being interrogated.
