4 deaths from Covid-19 were announced by the Ministry. Health, who:
- relate to:
- Man, aged 90, who died on February 18
- Man, aged 75, who died on February 18
- Woman, aged 88, who died on February 19
- Man, aged 82, who died on February 19
- Total number of deaths with a final cause of COVID-19: 823.
- 160 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized in the hospitals of the CySEC
- 37 in serious condition (ICU: 2 out of breath/11 intubated, PPE: 24)
- Percentage of hospitalized patients without a history of vaccination: 66.88%
- 28 patients who have ceased to be infectious continue to be hospitalized intubated due to COVID in an Intensive Care Unit.
Diagnostic tests:
- A total of 80,454 diagnostic tests were performed
- 1,764 new cases were identified (total cases 304,425).
- Positivity rate in total exams 2.19%
Total number of molecular tests (PCR):
- 6,954 molecular tests were performed
- There were 256 positive cases
- Positivity rate 3.68%
- Total number of rapid antigen tests (Rapid Test):
- 73,500 rapid antigen tests were performed
- There were 1,508 positive cases
- Positivity rate 2.05%
Tracking:
- 107 molecular tests were performed and 10 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 9.35%)
- 1,366 rapid antigen tests were performed and 72 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 5.27%)
Private initiative:
- 2,141 molecular tests were performed, 193 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 9.01%)
- 40,372 rapid antigen tests were performed, 890 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 2.2%)
Through the health ministry's programs, 33,128 rapid antigen tests were performed. 618 positive cases were identified.
- Sampling points: 31,546 rapid detection tests identified 537 positive cases (positivity rate 1.7%)
Other
- Nursing homes: 216 rapid antigen tests were performed, 9 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 4.17%)
