Construction materials prices jumped 16.55% in January 2022, compared to January 2021, according to data from the Statistical Service.
The Price Index of Construction Materials for the month of January 2022 stood at 121.17 points (based on 2015=100), recording an increase of 1.26%
Compared to the previous month (December 2021), the Construction Materials Price Index for January 2022 recorded an increase of 1.26% and stood at 121.17 points (based on 2015=100).
By main product category, increases were recorded in January 2022, on an annual basis, in metal products (26.10%), wood, insulation, chemicals and plastics (19.87%), electromechanical items (13.76%), mineral products (6.35%) and minerals (5.33%).
