Tourism revenue in October reached pre-pandemic levels, according to just-released data.
Revenues for October 2021 came to €310.2 million, compared to €77.4 million in October 2020, and €299.4 million in October 2019.
This October saw the largest influx of tourists (361,638) since the start of the pandemic.
During January to October 2021, tourism revenues are estimated at €1.35 billion – compared to €0.38 billion for the same period of 2020, and €2.53 billion for the corresponding period of 2019.
