In the measures of the coronavirus era, the events of this year's carnival, with the mass events and the two parades, are to be postponed for the second consecutive year by decision of the Municipality of Limassol.
According to a relevant announcement, the Limassol Municipality does not intend to cancel the city's top cultural institution, but with every responsibility in relation to public health, it will adapt this year's events to the current protective measures against the pandemic.
Within this framework, there will not be the big mass events, such as the events of Tsiknopempti, the children's parade and the big parade. The Limassol Municipality is planning and will soon announce a number of events, performances, concerts and exhibitions both in Pattichio and in the Lanitis Carob Mill.
