New measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus pandemic come into force from today, Monday, in Cyprus.
Based on the decree of the Minister of Health published on January 6, the rate of teleworking is set up to 50% of the staff of each company or organization in the service sector as well as for the public and wider public sector.
Businesses employing up to 10 people are excluded from the measure of teleworking, while in essential services the supervisor regulates remote work, depending on the needs of the Service.
Furthermore, a maximum of 200 people is set for restaurants, nightclubs, music and dance centres, weddings and christenings, in compliance with health protocols and the maximum number of people per square metre that is in force.
The maximum number of people per table is set at 8 people, and dancing is not permitted.
Also, from January 10, accommodation and visit to hotel units / tourist accommodation will be allowed only to people who have completed their vaccination program or who have begun their vaccination program and the time required to receive the 2nd or 3rd dose of vaccine has not expired.
