The new building of the Philharmonic of the Municipality of Pafos, which was renovated and equipped by the Municipality of Pafos on Karnavalou Street, in the heart of the traditional commercial centre of the city, is inaugurated on Saturday, December 18 at 11.00 a.m., by the Minister of Education, Prodromos Prodromos.
With the renovation of the premises and its assignment to the Philharmonic, the Municipality of Pafos finally and effectively solves a chronic problem, giving the Philharmonic to the opportunity for the Philharmonic to develop and create in its own permanent facilities.
The program of the event includes a greeting by the Mayor of Pafos, Phedon Phaedonos, a speech by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth, Prodromos Prodromos, and a concert by the Philharmonics of the Cyprus Police and the Municipality of Paphos.
The health measures provided for the containment of the pandemic will be observed.
