With the advent of the new year, the Ministry of Health will receive additional self-tests, which will be made available free of charge to citizens, as there is already a shortage in pharmacies.
Speaking on state radio, the Superintendent of Clinical Laboratories, Karolina Stylianou, described the response of the public as encouraging and urged vaccinated citizens to visit the sampling points in order to undergo rapid detection tests free of charge.
Ms. Stylianou noted that at least one week should pass in order to see whether the measure of self-tests helped the tests and at the same time limit the spread of the coronavirus.
