CYPRUS AIRWAYS ANNOUNCES WINTER 2021/22 FLIGHTS

  • Flights to Athens, Beirut and Tel Aviv resume

Cyprus Airways, the Cyprus company under the name of the national carrier, has started ticket sales for the winter of 2021/2022. The Cyprus airline based in Larnaca has announced that according to its renewed flight schedule, this winter it will operate flights to Greece, the United Kingdom, Russia, Lebanon and Israel.

The company will resume flights to Athens, a destination that has traditionally been one of the most popular in the Cypriot market. Flights to Athens will start on December 15, 2021 with 3 weekly flights, every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Flights to Heraklion, the airline's second destination in Greece, will continue in the winter season, every Wednesday and Saturday.

Cyprus Airways will resume flights to the authentic oriental city of Beirut from 18 December 2021 with 3 weekly flights and to Tel Aviv, the city that never sleeps, on 10 January 2022 with 2 weekly flights.

Flights to Moscow, the ideal city for winter holidays, will continue in the winter season with two weekly flights, every Monday and Thursday.

Flights to London Heathrow Airport, the busiest airport in Europe, are scheduled to start from 1 February 2022, with three weekly flights, every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. Flights to London will depart from Larnaca in the morning, ideal time to enjoy a whole day in London.

Recently, Cyprus Airways was acquired by SJC Group, a Group based in Malta and doing business throughout Africa and the Middle East.
