COMPLAINTS ABOUT FAKE POSITIVE RAPID TESTS BEFORE THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH

 Filenews 14 December 2021

A letter to the Pancyprian Pharmaceutical Association was sent by the Minister of Health Michalis Hadjipantelas regarding complaints that reached before the Ministry of Health and referred to the issuance of fake positive coronavirus tests by pharmacies.

Through the letter, Mr. Chatzipandelas invites the Pancyprian Pharmaceutical Association to draw attention to its members, in order to intensify the controls in pharmacies that carry out rapid test sampling.

It underlines that random checks will be carried out on pharmacy customers, while if it is found that a false result has been issued, the Ministry of Health will revoke the pharmacy's permission to carry out rapid antigen detection tests and they will then be subject to penalties.
