A four-day detention order was issued by the Pafos District Court against a 36-year-old Captain of the National Guard in a case of publication of military installations. The 36-year-old's arrest was made on Saturday after a video allegedly leaked showing National Guard movements.
As reported to the court by the examiner of the case, the National Guard obtained evidence and testimonies on the basis of which its officer filmed containers containing the force's ammunition, which were intended to be destroyed after the useful time of their use had elapsed. The ammunition will be transported to possibly be destroyed abroad.
The video and photographic material of the scenes ended up in media which referred to the "new Mari".

The 36-year-old's mobile phone and other electronic devices have been seized and are being examined by the Police.
