An alarm was sounded at the temporary accommodation center for asylum seekers, "Pournara", after 75 cases of coronavirus were detected.
As a result, a huge operation was set up with trucks of the National Emergency Society to transport a number of migrants who are considered contacts of the confirmed cases, to the Accommodation Center for Applicants "Limnes".
According to reports, the Ministry of Health is in communication with the Ministry of Interior, while since the morning a mobile unit of the Ministry of Health is at the point to conduct rapid tests on migrants. The sampling unit will visit "Pournara" again in two days to re-test the migrants.
