VICTIM OF TRAGIC CAR ACCIDENT ON MOTORWAY SUNDAY MORNING CONFIRMED

The scenario that all his own people, friends and acquaintances were hoping for, unfortunately seems to have been confirmed. The charred body from the terrible car accident on the Pafos-Limassol highway at dawn on Sunday, belongs as his relatives have been informed to the 23-year-old Spyros Myrianthous.

Already the family has announced that the end of the tragedy that struck them will be written tomorrow, Tuesday, at 3.00pm at the Church of Christ's Nativity in Tala.

The family also announced that they will not accept condolences, while their request is that instead of wreaths contributions are made to the foundation "The Ark- Center for Healing and Rehabilitation".

The tragedy happened at two o'clock in the morning of Sunday under conditions that the Police are still trying to clarify in all the details. According to the data so far, the rental vehicle driven by the 23-year-old and belonging to a family vehicle rental business, appears to have entered the oncoming traffic and as a result it collided violently with a vehicle driven by a couple from Kouklia. The fatal vehicle was driving specifically towards Paphos, but in the lane to Limassol, unknown from what point and for how far.

From the terrible traffic collision despite the exit of Geroskipou, the rental vehicle ended up violently in the guardrails, resulting in a fire breaking out in it and charring its driver. The fire was extinguished by the Fire Brigade who rushed to the scene and then its driver was recovered from the remains of the vehicle.

The couple on board the other vehicle involved, 64 and 44 years old respectively, were transferred to Paphos Hospital where according to the on-duty doctor their state of health is serious, but out of danger.
