THIRD DOSE - ON PORTAL 8 OCTOBER 70+, WALK-IN FOR 70+ FROM MONDAY 11 OCTOBER

 Filenews 7 October 2021

The age limit for the administration of the 3rd dose is further reduced from tomorrow, in an effort as soon as possible to complete the vaccination with a booster dose in people aged 65 years and over, in order to increase their immunity and protection against COVID-19.

Specifically, from tomorrow, October 8, access to the Vaccination Portal will be available to citizens who are aged 70 years and over and six (6) months have elapsed since the date they received the 2nd dose of the vaccine against COVID-19. Appointments will be processed from Monday, October 11, onwards.

At the same time, from Monday, October 11, and every Monday to Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., walk-in vaccination centers will serve people aged 70 years and over who wish to be vaccinated with the 3rd dose.

Until yesterday, 17,140 people belonging to the population groups, who were given priority for vaccination, were vaccinated with a 3rd dose, following a relevant decision of the Council of Ministers.
