The crews are working feverishly in the area next to the Monastery of Agios Neophytos in Tala, where the new church of St. Ephraim of Nea Makri is being built and on a daily basis the progress of the works is now evident. Already, the dome of the church has been formed and now the building has taken its final form, giving a clear picture of it with the completion of the works.
And in the meantime, more and more believers who make their walk to the Monastery of Agios Neophytos make a stop at the point of construction of the church of St. Ephraim, a few metres before, in order to pray, to leave flowers or icons of the saint and to light a candle in the small makeshift place of worship that has been created by the faithful at the point of construction of the regular church.
The church of St. Ephraim is erected on a plot granted by the Monastery of St. Neophytos and which is located at a very close distance from the monastery, on the main road from Tremithousa and Tala to the Monastery of Agios Neophytos.
