Continuing the process of vaccination with a 3rd dose in the groups of the population determined by decision of the Council of Ministers, and with the aim of better protection through the enhancement of immunity, the Ministry of Health proceeds from tomorrow, October 6, 2021, to the administration of a booster dose to people aged 75 years and over.
It is noted that the 3rd dose is administered at the Vaccination Centers all over Cyprus, either after arranging an appointment through the Vaccination Portal, or through the free-to-attend vaccination centres (walk-in) without prior appointment scheduling. Walk-ins for 3rd dose vaccination are open Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. For Paphos this is Paphos General Hospital.
As of yesterday, a booster dose was administered to 13,844 people who fall into the priority groups at this time for the 3rd dose.
