In an extremely critical condition, an as yet unknown woman is hospitalized at Nicosia General Hospital, who was knocked over last night by a car on the main road of Peyia – Kathikas.
According to the evidence under investigation, around 7.55pm, yesterday, a car driven by a 30-year-old man with a 27-year-old co-driver on the above road, under conditions that are being investigated, knocked over and injured the pedestrian, who at the time was trying to cross the road.
The pedestrian was initially transported by ambulance to Paphos General Hospital and then due to the criticality of her state of health, she was transferred for hospitalization to Nicosia General Hospital.
A court warrant was issued against the 30-year-old driver and he was arrested for facilitating interrogations.
