Important developments emerged around the police investigations in relation to the 53-year-old doctor in Larnaca, against whom allegations of issuance of fake vaccination certificates are being investigated.
The Institute of Neurology and Genetics informed the Police yesterday that nine of the 28 citizens from whom blood was taken for antibody tests, it was found that they did not have antibodies, although they were declared as vaccinated. Specifically, from the samples sent to the Institute of Neurology, it emerged after specialized analyses that 16 people had antibodies, three people were ill, so it cannot be ascertained whether they have antibodies due to the disease or because of a vaccine, while nine others who are declared as vaccinated, do not show antibodies.
This may or may not say something about examiners, since someone may not develop antibodies even if they have been vaccinated, if they have a low immune system. Following this development, the investigators of the Larnaca IWC rushed yesterday to the Legal Service and after being informed about the results of the specialized analyses, they received instructions for the continuation of the investigations.
Specifically, the investigators were instructed to take testimony from all nine citizens who voluntarily gave a blood sample for analysis, in order to ask whether they were actually vaccinated, when, etc. After taking the statements, the investigators will again inform the Legal Service of the results. However, lawyers and other circles commented that this is an unprecedented case involving scientific issues and its final outcome will be judged by the opinion expressed by medical experts.
At the same time, investigations are continuing for both citizens who, while they were declared vaccinated, became ill with coronavirus and eventually died, while according to a complaint, they had not been vaccinated. The Police are attempting to take statements from their family.
It is recalled that this doctor had been arrested on August 6 and after being remanded in custody twice, he was released until the completion of the police examinations. A case is being investigated against him by the Police concerning conspiracy to commit a felony, forgery of an official document, circulation of a forged document, securing registration with false representations, neglectful acts that cause bodily harm and for violations of the General Health System Law and transactions with representatives who suggest corruption. The day before yesterday, the Supreme Court had rejected a request for the cancellation of his warrants for his arrest and disclosure of his private communication, i.e. the receipt of a laptop and a mobile phone.
