Filenews 17 September 2021
The national report with the updated epidemiological data until 13 September was published by the Ministry of Health. The downward trend continues in all indicators (moving average of diagnoses, incidence of 14 days, moving average of hospital admissions and hospitalizations). Also the reproduction number is estimated at 0.60 (0.56-0.64).
The Ministry of Health clarifies that the total number of diagnoses mentioned in the national report is lower than that of the daily bulletin of 13 September and the reason is that in the national report the data are analyzed according to the day of diagnosis (day of sampling), while in the bulletin they are announced on the basis of the day the results are declared, which may be 2 or 3 days after sampling (in the case of PCRs).
