Another park that upgrades the quality of life of citizens and especially the residents of the refugee district of Mouttalos, is officially delivered to the local community by the Municipality of Pafos. This is the Park "Morfou" in the heart of the Mouttalos district, on Ibrahim Kazim and Black Sea streets, the handover and naming ceremony of which will take place tomorrow, Friday at 6.00pm.
The ceremony will be addressed by the Mayor of Pafos, Phedonas Phaedonos, and the Mayor of Morfou, Victor Hadjiavraam, sending together with the refugee residents of the district the message that we remember our occupied land.
The program of the event includes a presentation of the project by the Municipal Engineer of Pafos, Neophytos Zavridis, greetings by Katerina Antoniou, Senior Officer of Town Planning, by the Mayor of Morfou, by the Mayor of Pafos, the revelation of a commemorative sign by the Mayor of Paphos and the Mayor of Morfou, a music program by Sotiris Karageorgis and Antigone Kyriakou and an open reception.
The project was implemented by the Municipality of Pafos with the contribution of the Ministry of Interior - Department of Town Planning and Housing.
The ceremony will observe the planned measures for the coronavirus pandemic.
