After the successful effort of the summer, free guided tours and the live demonstration of traditional arts and professions of the region at the Regional Museum of Rural Life Akamas in Droushia resume from October 2nd.
The whole effort is made by the Pafos ETAP, in cooperation with the Community Council of Droushia and the support of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism.
The tours and live presentations will take place every Saturday for the months of October, November and December from 9.30am-1.00pm with the aim of publicity to the museum and the wider area.
A licensed tour guide will be present at the venue to provide a guided tour, explanations as well as general information in both Greek and English, while at the same time professionals of traditional arts and professions of the region will demonstrate their skills and produce culture live.
Etap Pafos invites both local and foreign visitors as well as permanent residents of Cyprus to take advantage of the opportunity to visit this unique Museum and get to know the rural life and traditions of the area.
This action is part of the strategy of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism and the pafos agencies to promote the countryside, promote its special characteristics and restore it to sustainable development rates.
