Autumn with tensions is sought by the occupying Turkey. According to secure information, Erdogan is setting a "warm" scene, believing that developments in the Afghan issue serve him and facilitate him in his expansionist plans.
Seeing the international players turn to him, the Turkish President believes that any moves he makes against Greece and Cyprus will have no cost and the reactions will be lukewarm. With this "aura" he will find himself in New York, having his role in the Afghan as a "passport" to both the United Nations and the European Union. In the EU, its requirements are specific (upgrading of the customs union, liberalisation of European visas for Turkish nationals, etc.), while it does not discuss the fulfilment of obligations.
In relation to his next moves regarding Greece and Cyprus, the information indicates Ankara planning the following:
⦁ It will "respond" to the resumption of the energy program of the Republic of Cyprus with its own investigations. It will not harass the drilling of the American EXXON MOBIL (November-December in the sea parcel 10), but will proceed to its own.
⦁ It has begun and will continue work in the area within the enclave, in which on July 21st it announced that it will open. The occupying leader, Ersin Tatar, as Ankara's enclave, had then called on the Greek Cypriot owners to appeal to the so-called property commission. In this part of the enclave, which covers 3% of it, they have begun to clean the streets and in the next stage they will deal with the buildings.
⦁ It has begun "preparation" movements in the Greek sea area (Navtex in the Aegean and east of Crete) while it also turns its attention to Greece.
Ankara believes it can put pressure on Athens both at sea and with the migrant issue and extract benefits. It is obvious that all the moves are aimed at the implementation of Turkish plans, while in relation specifically to the Cyprus issue, he believes that this will impose the two-state scenario. Under, that is, the pressure of the data and the tension that it will cause and sustain.
