The Statistical Service
announces that, during the period of 20 - 24 September, the training of the
enumerators of the Census of Population is carried out on a nationwide scale.
The aim of the training is to familiarise with the concepts and definitions
of the Census, to get acquainted with the technical means that will be used,
as well as to be informed about the data collection process, especially in
relation to the health protocols that apply. Taking this opportunity, the
Statistical Service would like to extend its sincere thanks to the
educational institutions University of Nicosia, University of Neapolis, UCLan
University, Cyprus College (Limassol) and CDA College (Limassol), for kindly
providing their facilities for the purpose of this training.
