The Police announce Cyprus traffic controls aimed at preventing serious and fatal road collisions by carrying out speed limit checks.
The Cyprus road checks will start from tomorrow Monday 9 August, 2021 and will last until Sunday 15 August, 2021, while they will also be carried out at pan-European level, within the framework of the cooperation of the Cyprus Police with the European Road Traffic Police Network ROADPOL.
Speeding is one of the main causes of serious and fatal road collisions, which is why the Police are focusing their efforts on combating this phenomenon.
