On the basis of the decisions of the Council of Ministers, dated July 30, and with the aim of halting the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, as of August 1st, in the places where access requires the possession of a SafePass, people aged 12 years and over must meet one of the following conditions:
- Vaccination certificate at least with one dose and after 3 weeks have elapsed since the administration of the vaccine.
- Proof that a person has been ill with COVID-19 in the last 6 months.
- Certificate of negative test, PCR or rapid test, valid for 72 hours.
According to the decision of the Council of Ministers, dated July 2nd, from August 1st, only the following categories of citizens can be served in the mobile rapid test units:
- Minors up to 17 years of age. It is understood that children aged 12-17 years, who do not have the consent of their parents/ legal guardians for vaccination, may perform a free rapid test through the program of the Ministry of Health.
- People aged 18 years and over, who cannot be subjected to vaccination holding a medical certificate, and after their request has been examined by the Pancyprian Medical Association and the Ministry of Health and given relevant approval, which must be presented to the sampling unit.
- Pregnant women, who cannot undergo vaccination for medical reasons, with the necessary presentation of approval by the ad hoc committee of the Pancyprian Medical Association and the Ministry of Health, issued after an evaluation of a request they must submit with the necessary medical certificates from their Gynaecologist.
- People who have been vaccinated with the 1st dose of the vaccine, for the period of three weeks who must undergo tests as a condition for the issuance of SafePass. For verification purposes, the Vaccination Card should be presented.
- People who have completed their vaccination regimen, but wish to undergo tests for the purpose of monitoring their health or for other reasons. It is understood that the Vaccination Card must necessarily be presented.
- Individuals who hold a certificate of recovery from COVID-19 within the last 180 days, but wish to be tested for the purpose of monitoring their health or for other reasons. It is understood that the recovery certificate must necessarily be presented.
In addition to the above proofs, it is reminded that all citizens must provide proof of identity (e.g. Identity Card, Driver's License, Passport, etc.) for identification purposes.
For Wednesday, August 18, 2021, the rapid test sampling units operating through the control program of the Ministry of Health only for the above groups of citizens, will be located at the following locations in Paphos:

King's Avenue Mall, Paphos (main entrance) - 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
"Stelios Kyriakides" Stadium (West Stand Gate A1 ex Pafiacos Stadium) - 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Square "Vrisi ton Pegeiotisson", Pegeia - 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Chlorakas Church - 2 p.m.-6 p.m.
