A case of burglary, robbery and kidnapping at a residence in Tala owned by an 82-year-old woman is being investigated by the Paphos TAE.
According to the Police, an 82-year-old woman complained to the police that while she was sleeping in her room she heard a noise and after waking up and exiting her room, saw two men who under the threat of a knife pushed her into bed and tied her hands and feet with clothes that were in the room.
The two attackers are then alleged, at first sight, to have stolen from her residence several gold goods, some of which were worn by the woman worth €40,000, wallet with five credit cards and the sum of UK £25,000.
Members of the Paphos TAF went to the scene and collected various documents in order to identify the perpetrators. The examinations are continued by the T.E.O. Paphos.
