GOING TO GREECE? LOCAL LOCKDOWNS ZAKYNTHOS & CHANIA EXTENDED till 18 August

The validity of local lockdowns in the Regional Units of Zakynthos and Chania is extended, following the re-evaluation of epidemiological data by the Subcommittee of Infectious Diseases and the Hellenic National Committee for the Protection of Public Health against Covid-19 in the context of the epidemiological surveillance of the country by Regional Unit and Municipality on a weekly basis.


It is recalled that the measures in force are as follows:

Curfew from 01:00 in the evening to 06:00 in the morning, with the exception of work and serious health reasons.

Prohibition of music around the clock in health and entertainment stores.

The measures are extended until Wednesday 18 August at 6:00.

We also recall that both in these areas and throughout the territory, it is forbidden to hold any form of events against any form of consideration, with the physical presence of a crowd of more than twenty (20) people in a private, non-professional space. The administrative fine in the event of an infringement shall be between €50,000 and €200,000 for the lessee or concessionaire of the private, non-professional space in which the event in question took place or takes place.
