A total of 424,697,665 doses of vaccines were received by the European Union by 29 June, according to a Presidency briefing document to COREPER (Permanent Representatives Committee - Council of the EU). Cyprus is in 6th place among the 27 Member States.
Of the doses received, Cyprus has administered 446,320 first doses and has 327,147 fully vaccinated, it is reported. Cyprus vaccinates at a rate of 105.9 per 100 people of the population over 18 and with 85.6 per 100 people of the total population.
According to the same document by 4 July the EU expects to have received 482 million instalments. Of these doses Cyprus has received 1,164,050 doses and Greece 11,184,350 doses. Similarly, the corresponding population size Belgium has received 11,353,055 doses (and it is recalled that with them it has vaccinated 76% of adults with one and 43% of adults fully).
Greece has made 4,762,226 first doses and has 3,666.08 fully vaccinated. Greece vaccinates at a rate of 92.5 per 100 people of the population over 18 and 76.5 per 100 people of the total population. It is in 17th place among the 27.
