UNDERWATER MUSEUM IN AYIA NAPA READY TO RECEIVE VISITORS - Opens 31 July

Filenews 28 July 2021

Impressive are the images from the underwater museum of Ayia Napa, MUSAN, whose work was completed a few days ago and is ready to receive its first visitors.

The museum, located on Pernera Beach in Ayia Napa, will offer a unique experience to those who decide to visit it, since its creator is the world-renowned British sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor who also created the world's first underwater museum in the Caribbean Sea. The artist will present the museum himself at the opening on July 31st.

MUSAN is a landmark for the tourist product of Cyprus, since it is a unique experience, combining nature and art in a way that impresses. The creation of MUSAN is the result of the intense efforts of the Municipality of Ayia Napa, in collaboration with the Department of Fisheries and Marine Research, who are pleased to see the realization of the idea of upgrading the marine protected area of artificial reefs of Ayia Napa.

At the same time, the www.musan.com.cy website has been prepared, in which interested parties will be able to visit and make an appointment for their visit. Visitors to the museum can be divers, or swimmers with a mask and snorkel.
