With a simple ceremony, due to the pandemic, which will take place Wednesday at 7.00 p.m., the Municipality of Paphos officially delivers to the local community the Park "Ismeni Liasidou".
It is the first park in Cyprus that has equipment for children with mobility problems. The project, total expenditure €123,000, was created by the Municipality of Paphos on the green area of Kavala Street, while the Round Table 7 Paphos contributed to its implementation.
The City Council decided to give the park the name of the late Ismeni Liasidou as a sign of honour and appreciation for the work and contribution of Ismeni, who was a pioneer of the effort to improve the quality of life of children with disabilities.
At the event, the measures envisaged to limit the spread of the pandemic will be observed.
