In 203, the hospitalizations of patients with coronavirus are recorded in the country's hospitals, of which 54 are in serious condition. 90.2% of nurses have no history of vaccination. At the same time, 928 new COVID-19 cases were recorded, bringing the total number of cases to 90,338.
A total of 72,874 disease detection tests have been carried out using the molecular method (PCR) and the antigen rapid test.
A. Deaths from COVID-19:
No deaths of COVID-19 patients were recorded. Therefore, the total number of deaths with the final cause of COVID-19 remains 384, of which:
- 256 men (67%), and
- 128 women (33%).
The average age of the deceased from the disease is 77.2 years.
B. Hospitalized:
A total of 203 patients with COVID-19 disease are hospitalized in THE OKYP hospitals, 54 of whom are in serious condition or in MAF conditions.
Of the 54 patients in serious condition, 20 are intubated in an Intensive Care Unit and 34 are in an Increased Care Unit.

C. Positive events COVID-19 (PCR test and rapid antigen test):
Of the 72,874 diagnoses currently carried out, 7,032 were made using the molecular method (PCR) and 65,842 using the antigen rapid test, 928 cases of COVID-19 disease were identified, resulting as follows:
- 2 cases from 53 samples taken through the process of tracing contacts of already confirmed cases.
- 12 cases of 2,572 samples taken as part of a passenger check at Larnaca and Paphos Airports.

- 13 cases from 228 samples taken from the Microbiological Laboratories of the General Hospitals.

- 75 cases from 3,435 samples tested using the antigen rapid test in private clinical laboratories and pharmacies.
- 607 cases from 62,407 samples tested using the antigen rapid test.
