"In the state report Section A is open for vaccinations, with an Astra Zeneca vaccine," deputy director of nursing services, Evagoras Tambouris, told ACTIVE, admitting that sometimes there is confusion with citizens who have a planned PFIZER vaccination, being pre-treated and being informed that they will be vaccinated with Astra Zeneca.
There were, he said, several complaints, but in communication with the nursing services, the misunderstanding was restored.
"For a change of vaccination appointment and for reprogramming, contact is required with 1474. It is easier to cancel the first appointment via line 1474 and at the same time arrange a new appointment through the portal. If some people have requested reprogramming by e-mail and have no answer, issue a reminder, or, if they are suffering, contact 22 605403" pointed out Mr. Tambouris.
He added that "the July requests are now being considered. There are 4,000 requests for the age of 18", noting that after a lull, interest started again mainly from groups of young people.
