Mobile units to vaccinate hotel employees will be operational before the end of the week, PASYXE director-general Philocyprus Roussounidis told The Insider and Socrates Joachim.
According to Mr. Rousunidis there is increased interest from officials who had not been vaccinated until now and hotels are already collecting signatures with the aim of coming when the mobile units come to their premises.
Vaccinations will be for the Pfizer vaccine, while those over the age of 50 will also be given an option for the AstraZeneca vaccine.
Mr. Roussanidis also referred to the plan for subsidised holidays of vaccinated residents of Cyprus that will run from 15 July to 31 August noting that there is interest from more than 100 tourist accommodations to participate.
He said the maximum price along with the grant would be €52 for a double room with breakfast.
