262 motor vehicles seized in the first half of 2021
In the seizure of 262 vehicles, which did not carry registration plates or were declared immobilized or
found to have carried mechanical or other modifications, they were seized in the first half of 2021 by
Famagusta Traffic Police.
In particular, 92 large-scale motorcycles, 109 mopeds, 57 cars, three tractors and one truck were seized.
Some of these vehicles have been retained by Court decrees.
It should be noted that the coordinated and targeted operations of the Police, to prevent serious and fatal
road traffic collisions, as well as to prevent and suppress offences of nuisance and juvenile delinquency, Activities continue daily as part of efforts to prevent and combat all forms of illegality.
