Police investigations into the aberrations at the "DIAS" complex continue at an intensive pace on Sunday evening.
Until this moment, the Police have arrested five persons, while the evaluation of witness material to identify other persons involved in them continues.
The five arrested for last night's incidents will appear at 11.00 a.m. at the Nicosia District Court.
"It's not out of the question that there were Limassolians"
Moreover, the Limassol T.E.O. stated that "in relation to the incidents in Nicosia we are in coordination with the Nicosia T.E.O. like all the Provinces since the event was a pancyprian event and it is not excluded that there were also Limassolians".
Injured
During the incidents and arrests, 12 members of the force were injured, seven of whom visited the Hospital. Two of them have been seriously injured.
An enhanced investigative team has already been appointed by the Nicosia TD to fully investigate the incidents and bring those responsible to justice.
