DEMONSTRATORS BROKE INTO THE ''DIAS'' COMPLEX

Incidents occurred On Sunday night in the complex "DIAS", after a group of demonstrators entered the building setting fire and breaking the entrance.

The Pancyprian march began in the afternoon outside the Presidential and then found itself outside the complex "DIAS" in Egomi. After breaking the entrance of the complex, demonstrators entered the parking lot, broke and set fire to vehicles, and then entered the building, destroying the entrance.

It should be noted that the incidents were condemned by the President of the House Annita Demetriou.

In particular, according to what the "Awaken Cypriots" page announced yesterday, the demands of the Cyprus route were:

  • Immediate abolition of the illegal and unconstitutional "SafePass" .
  • direct declaration/commitment of the P.T.D. and all parties and employers that the rapid test will not be charged to employees/citizens under any circumstances.
  • immediate commitment to remove the rapid test every 72 hours.
  • direct declaration/commitment and declaration by the P.T.D. and all parties and employers that vaccination for Covid-19 is NOT in any way mandatory
  • immediately stop the segregation and discrimination of citizens in unvaccinated and non-vaccinated
  • immediately stop bullying, blackmail, threats of dismissal against public and private sector workers on the grounds that they refuse to be vaccinated.
  • immediate abolition of illegal and unconstitutional decrees
  • direct declaration by the President that lockdown is illegal and unconstitutional
  • strengthening hospitals and general health with all the millions spent on useless rapid testing.
  • immediate increase of M.E.T. beds by channelling all millions unnecessarily thrown into useless rapid tests or given illegally in the form of "incentives" to citizens to be vaccinated
  • greater protection and measures to support and care for vulnerable groups for their immediate care in the event of an emergency
