CYPRUS PASSES THE HALF A MILLION MARK TODAY FOR VACCINATIONS GIVEN

It breaks the barrier of half a million people who chose vaccination and received at least the 1st dose in Cyprus.

According to data released by the Ministry of Health until yesterday, 499,985 people were vaccinated, a figure corresponding to 69.7% while 435,393 people completed their vaccination regimen, i.e. up to 60.7%.

Vaccination coverage with at least 1st dose per age as of 16 July:

16-17: 20.7% (on 9 July it was at 13.3%)

18-19: 35.2% (on 9 July it was at 30.7%)

20-29: 43.8% (on 9 July it was at 39.4%)

30-39: 59.4% (on 9 July it was at 56%)

40-49: 78.6% (on 9 July it was at 75.6%)

50-59: 76.2% (on 9 July it was at 73.9%)

60-69: 84.7% (on 9 July it was at 83.3%)

70-79: 93.1% (on July 9 it was at 92.4)

80+: 93.7% (on 9 July it was 93%)

By Province, the vaccination coverage until yesterday was:

Famagusta: 74.7%

Larnaca: 63.7%

Limassol: 67%

Nicosia: 70.4%

Paphos: 76.6%
