BRITAIN - NEW GUIDELINES FOR TRAVEL TO CYPRUS - wef 19 July

 Filenews 13 July 2021

The Foreign Office no longer recommends that Britons avoid unnecessary travel to Cyprus.

The renewal of the travel recommendation was made late Monday and followed similar moves for other countries included in the Orange Travel List of the Ministry of Transport, such as Greece.

From next Monday 19 July fully vaccinated and UK citizens returning from 'orange' destinations will be exempt from the obligation of ten days of solitary confinement at home.

The renewed recommendation of the British Foreign Office reflects this new policy and allows people to travel without the fear of cancellations or other unexpected travel problems.

The Communication states that the lifting of the travel recommendation is based on the current risk assessment recommended by COVID-19.
