Very pleasant is the news about the creation of a Agricultural School in Paphos. As announced a moment ago by the MP Paphos of DISY, Charalambos Pazaros, who had the initiative to promote the request, was informed today in writing that the Ministry of Education is looking positively and has already accepted his recommendation for the creation of an Agricultural School in Paphos.
"The relevant instructions have already been given to the Directorate of Secondary Technical and Vocational Education and Training as well as to take all necessary steps to operate the Agricultural School on a pilot basis, at the Lyceum and TESEK of Agios Charalambous Embas from the school year 2022-2023", says Mr. Pazaros. "In addition, the Ministry of Education informed me that for the practical training of students, in addition to the facilities I mentioned in my letter dated 21/4/21, the infrastructures housed in the Agricultural Research Institute in Achleia will be used until the necessary greenhouses and outdoor spaces are erected in the area of Embas Lyceum".
The creation of an Agricultural School is a very positive development for Paphos since the primary production sector employs a large number of workers, and its operation will help the further development of this sector, stressed the MEMBER of the DISY.
