Announcing the decisions of the President of the Republic, Mr. Kousios thanked Nikos Anastasiades, saying that he was offered another post but he refused.
Analytically:
A new Government Representative in place of Kyriakos Kousios was appointed - Marios Pelekanos - who was a candidate of the DISY in the parliamentary elections and president of the organization of young scientists and the KOAG.
The position of Deputy Government Representative is assumed by Niovi Parissinos in place of Panagiotis Senton who takes over as Commissioner of the Citizen (this is the position of Commissioner of Volunteering who is renamed Commissioner of the Citizen).
The helm of the Ministry of Justice, following the episodic resignation of Emily Yolitis, is taken over by Stefi Drakou, who served as General Manager of Laiki Insurance until 2007 and later took over as General Manager of the Cyprus Insurance Companies Association (SAEK). He is a founding member of the Insurance Institute.
The Ministry of Social Welfare was locked up by Anastasia Anthousis, who was in the Ministry of Health under Minister George Piboridis and remained during the term of Konstantinos Ioannou.
The portfolio of the Ministry of Health, in place of Konstantinos Ioannou who had long asked to leave the government, is taken over by Michalis Hatzipandelas.
The new Director of the Press Office of the President of the Republic in place of Victor Papadopoulos is taken over by the journalist Andreas Joseph, who was a candidate in the parliamentary elections with DISY.
