| UK EHIC CARDS |
Regarding applications to the UK for the EHIC card - it seems that when people are applying for the card, they are told by the UK that they are 'not registered' as there is a problem with their S1. The problem seems to stem from the fact that a lot of procedures have been out-sourced and the left and right hands do not know what they are doing!
If you have previously obtained an S1 from the UK Government and submitted this to Cyprus Healthcare, then there is a remedy. Please contact Healthcare in Nicosia on 22 605474 - they can electronically send a copy of your S1 [issued by the UK Govt] back to the UK so they can resolve the matter! It seems that there are umpteen such cases in the pipeline at the present time.
