The Paphos Region Tourism Development and Promotion Company, continuing its efforts to promote the countryside and with the aim of increasing the museum's traffic in the community of Droushia, has planned for the next two months on a pilot basis, free guided tours as well as a live presentation of traditional arts and professions.
Tours and live presentations will take place every Saturday for the months of July and August from 09.30-13.00 with the aim of communicating the museum and the wider area. A licensed tour guide will be present at the site to provide guided tours, explanations as well as general information in both Greek and English, while traditional arts and professions professionals in the region will demonstrate their skills and live produce culture.
Guests are free to visit the site at any time and day of operation of the Museum, and admission is also free.
EFF Paphos invites both local and foreign visitors as well as residents to take advantage of the opportunity and visit this unique Museum and get to know the rural life and traditions of the area.
The whole effort is part of the strategy of the Ministry of Tourism and the institutions of Paphos to promote the countryside, promote its particular characteristics and restore it to sustainable development rates.
