2 Please phone your insurers emergency numbers - the ones I have found so far are:

For those who are insured via Status, they have loss adjusters on standby. Please phone Jo on 99 110519.
3 For vehicles please phone the number you have for emergency/breakdown/accident
4 Please take photos of damage and prepare a list of damage caused/items destroyed as far as you are able. Recommended you do this room-by-room, or area by area depending on damage caused. This will then help in your discussions with the loss adjuster.
5 Loss adjusters will be appointed by the insurers and will come and see you and make their own reports/take their own photos.
Until the loss adjusters have been it is not recommended that anything is cleared away unless it is essential as loss adjusters prefer to see damage in situ. Loss adjusters will also organise or put you in contact with people to help with cleaning/clearing smoke damage, removal of fire damaged property, vehicles, etc.
At the present time, it does not appear that insurers will be co-ordinating and sharing resources - but that could change.
