RAPID TEST CENTRES FOR PAPHOS - Monday 17 May

Free testing programs are continuing with rapid antigen testing of the general population and employees, with a view to continuous surveillance of the community and workplaces.

With a view to the smooth and safe operation of enterprises operating in accordance with the Decrees, employers in enterprises, as well as Heads in Departments/Services of the public and wider public sector have a responsibility to coordinate as employees undergo rapid testing, in order to ensure the mandatory weekly examination with rapid test of staff antigen as follows:

  • Enterprises/services where up to five (5) persons are physically present, the audit should be carried out on all employees.
  • Enterprises/services where they work with a physical presence of more than 5 persons, control should be carried out on at least 50% of employees.

In addition, self-employed persons, as well as persons working as domestic helpers and/or responsible for the care of the elderly or disabled or persons who cannot self-serve, must participate through the programme.
