Physicians will be able to provide beneficiaries aged 20 and over who wish to be vaccinated with the AstraZeneca vaccine.
This is stated in a statement by the Ministry of Health, stressing that in addition to the possibility of scheduling appointments through the Vaccination Portal by age group, the option for vaccination in the dispensaries of Personal Physicians is now given.
So far, 254 Personal Physicians covering all provinces have participated in the vaccination process of their beneficiaries. According to the available data, 23,080 doses of the vaccine have been requested by the Personal Physicians on the basis of requests submitted by doctors and 7,000 of them have already been administered.
Please note that the procedure for expressions of interest by Personal Physicians for vaccination of their beneficiaries is open and those who wish can complete the relevant registration process through the Health Insurance Agency.
