Free testing programs are continuing with rapid antigen testing of the general population and employees, with a view to continuous surveillance of the community and workplaces.
With a view to the smooth and safe operation of enterprises operating in accordance with the Decrees, employers in enterprises, as well as Heads in Departments/Services of the public and wider public sector have a responsibility to coordinate as employees undergo rapid testing, in order to ensure the mandatory weekly examination with rapid test of staff antigen as follows:
- Enterprises/services where up to five (5) persons are physically present , all employees should be checked.
- Enterprises/services where they work with a physical presence of more than 5 persons , control should be carried out on at least 50% of employees.
In addition, self-employed persons, as well as persons working as domestic helpers and/or responsible for the care of the elderly or disabled or persons who cannot self-serve, must participate through the programme.
It is recalled that workers who have received the 1st dose of a licensed vaccine and who have passed 3 weeks of vaccination are exempt from the obligation to have a weekly rapid test.
